The Secure Communities Forum (SCF), in partnership with Mastercard, proudly hosted the 2025 Masterclass on Cryptocurrency & Crime Investigation in Singapore during the first week of May. This landmark three-day event brought together over 400 participants from around the world—both in person and virtually—to tackle the urgent and complex challenges of cryptocurrency-enabled crime.
A Global Gathering for a Global Threat
From cybercriminal financing to decentralized laundering methods, law enforcement agencies across jurisdictions are being called upon to strengthen their understanding and response capabilities in this evolving domain. The SCF Masterclass is designed to provide cutting-edge insights, tools, and collaborative frameworks to empower police, regulators, and investigative authorities globally.
The event was officially opened by Lt. Col. Dana Humaid Al Marzooqi, Director General of the International Affairs Bureau at the UAE Ministry of Interior. Her remarks underscored the importance of international collaboration and public-private partnerships in the fight against digital financial threats—framing the week’s sessions within a broader call to action.
